Located at the centre of Newcastle’s bustling Quayside we’re the best meeting place in town. And we even open
early on match days so you can enjoy a pre-match refreshment and our delicious menu of top-notch pub fayre.
We’re also dog friendly and have a large outside area to enjoy whenever the sun’s shining.

A great atmosphere comes as standard

Robert Trollop was one of Newcastle’s most prominent architects. He was responsible for building Newcastle’s
Exchange and Guildhall between 1655 and 1658. Born into a family of stonemasons, Bob worked across
Northumberland and County Durham and many of the buildings he designed are still standing today.
